Common questions
Who actually delivers the work?
The consultants you talk to are the ones who do the architecture and the implementation — no bench, no junior handoffs, no slideware between the advice and the outcome.
Do you work remotely, or only on-site in Belgium?
Both. DarkMattr is based in Antwerp — on-site is available wherever the daily commute is realistic by car or public transport, and international travel is available for engagements that need it. Everything else runs remote, including architecture reviews and advisory calls for clients outside Belgium.
What languages do you work in?
English and Dutch — that's what we support customers in professionally. We speak some French, Spanish and Chinese too, but not at a level suited for professional conversations.
What size of engagement do you take on?
Anything from a single architecture review or a one-off advisory call to multi-year embedded work — we scope to the problem, not a minimum contract size.
Can I just book a call instead of a full project?
Yes. Expert consultancy calls are a standing offering — focused, senior-level sessions for a fast, direct answer on architecture, vendor choice or technical risk, no ramp-up required.
Why don't you name your clients on the Work page?
Most of what we do sits behind an NDA, and the rest just isn't ours to advertise. What's on the Work page is real, delivered work, described honestly without the names attached.
